Following is a transcript of an interview between Congressman José E Serrano and reporter from Univision affiliate Channel 41 in New York

REPORTER: First of all what do you think of this which is taking place in the streets of New York?:

CONGRESSMAN SERRANO: Fantastic! The number of people who are here today and the amount of people who feel this in their hearts...for a free Cuba and dream of that moment is incredible. I haven’t seen something like this in a long time.

REPORTER: If you reach Congress... What will the U.S. Congress do?

CONGRESSMAN SERRANO: Well, part of the reason why I’m here First as a Puertorican, to unite with this movement; with my Cuban brothers and demand that the Castros leave and the it be a free Cuba. But in addiction, with the grace of God, on the 21 of March I will be the Congressman and as a Congressman I want to be a voice that demands that the American government -the government in which. I participate- not allow that Castro remain one more day; that it exert all the international pressure necessary so that Castro leaves and immediately help Cuba to be a free Cuba; a Cuba that we can all enjoy. And thirdly, I have asked my Cuban brothers that when that day comes, they invite me so that I can spend an enjoyable time with them there.
